Hannah Durdin is a freelance writer focusing mainly on content and blog writing and social media management.
She lives with her three children and husband just outside of Exeter where she juggles home education, writing, weightlifting, running and spending as much time on Dartmoor or by the beach as possible.
She is also trained as a doula and breastfeeding peer supporter but both of these are on pause as she embraces the fullness of life with three young children.

Wow! I have recently been looking into becoming a doula…I think it would certainly be an incredible job. How do you like it and how did you get involved?
I trained with nurturing birth two years ago, the training was amazing but unfortunately I’ve only attended one birth as I had Elijah less than a year after the course and have concluded that it’s not compatible with three small children due to needing 24 hour back up childcare when on call. I hope to come back to it when they’re older. Doula UK have lots of information on their website xx
